Prior to this release most versions of Android have used version of the format. The only difference between versions and is the addition of default methods and the adjustment of the invoke instruction semantics to support this feature. Due to a Dalvik bug present in older versions of Android, Dex version has been skipped. Dex version is not valid for any version of Android and never will be. Sorry, something went wrong. That is correct. You'll have to use an older version of baksmali. It was only available briefly, and was never really officially supported.

It was actually supported in baksmali at one point. And then I explicitly removed support since it was completely removed from dalvik, and never had any real usage, other than the small number of platform builds that used it - of which bursoft-git seems to have found one :. What I do not understand is the directory from where to get the dependencies, which is specified by the option -d. How should I get the dependencies for framework. The files I copied were: baksmali. Comment 3 originally posted by JesusFreke on T Ah, sorry. I'm not sure why I had thought you were on a windows system, you clearly stated unix paths in the original report.

In any case, the baksmali wrapper is just a normal shell script. It just needs to be executable, have a baksmali. You only need to copy the baksmali wrapper script in the top level scripts directory and the baksmali. Comment 4 originally posted by JesusFreke on T Then when I run: "baksmali -a 10 -x framework.

What am I doing wrong? Am I getting the java script and the jar file from the right folders? Do I need to set something in Ubuntu to run Java scripts? Thanks in advance for any further help. Andy Wilkinson Andy Wilkinson In my case, I need to provide a path to the keystore file for the sake of a tomcat https connector. I want to wrap the jks file inside my jar.

According to the above solution it is not possible. Are you familiar with additional way to do it? I have a very similar requirement and there are no apis that let you set the keystore as part of the jar.

Modi, Were you able to find any solution? Do you mean for the key store use case? Are you using Spring Boot with Tomcat? RobinVarghese did you find any solution to your problem. I have a similar use case to be solved. Appreciate if you have some suggestion. In case if tomcat needs keystore location to enable https one can use classpath:filename so that keystore file can be read from within the jar.
