Trevil Thread Starter. Joined Sep 30, Messages 7. Hello, Need some help with a problem I can't seem to resolve. I've just reinstalled Windows XP. Everything seems to be fine except for when I try to install my cable which uses the ethernet adapter. Every time I try to install the driver for the ethernet adapter it says this: "The driver was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software" "The drivers for this device is not installed" Can someone please help me with this?
